Google Cloud Platform Setup

1. Open https://console.cloud.google.com/ and sign in with your Gmail account. Choose to Sign up for a free trial, enter a credit card (Must do). GCP has a $300 discount for new users, which is enough for project purposes.

2. Click ‘My Project’, then create a new Project.

3. Select a name for your project and make sure the location is “No organization”, then click Create.

4. Make sure your project is created under the GCP dashboard.
